Girls Football

FEMALE FOOTBALL

Football is the fastest growing female participation sport in the country and we want you to be a part of it!  Burdekin FC provide girls and ladies with a variety of football options allowing them to play competitive or social football. U5-U16 girls can participate in mixed or all girls teams when numbers permit in the Local Competition and FQ Northern Competition. Our senior women participate in the FQ Northern Townsville competition.

There are lots of ways to get involved in Female Football both on and off the field at BFC. We have recently seen the reintroduction of BFC Ladies Day. A hugely popular event for ladies who enjoy a social event, drink, dance and maybe even a bit of football.

Our Mission

The Pink Panthers initiative was formed in 2024. Through this initiative, Burdekin FC is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and celebrating women and girls in sports, with a focus on the Burdekin community. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where females of all ages can thrive and excel in their athletic pursuits. Join us in championing gender equality and empowerment through sports.
